The study aimed to uncover the effectiveness of a training program in the light of the historical research skills in providing the teachers of history with the skills of their implementation.

In order to achieve the objectives of the study, a training program on the historical habits of the mind was constructed, consisting of six training packages.

To clarify the truth, a sample of (27) teachers and teachers was selected at the Directorate of Education in Ajloun Governorate for the academic year 2018/2019, where the period of application continued 6 And by going to sell a training package for each week.

In order to discover the effectiveness of the program, the test was constructed and the validity and stability of the test was verified.

The application was implemented before the program was started.

The program was re-implemented after the completion of the training program.

The results of the study showed that there are significant differences at the level of significance ( = 0.05) between the arithmetical averages between tribal and post-application and for the benefit of the post application in the degree to which the skills of the historical research skills are acquired: collecting information from various sources about historical events, historical empathy, , Generate open historical event questions, teach historical texts, formulate historical argument
