Abstract EN

The study aimed at developing Palestinian standards for the curricula in line with the the prosperity goals of the 2030 Sustainable Development Plan.

In order to achieve the goal, the researcher used a qualitative methodology wherein the process of developing the standards and their indicators underwent a number of stages.

In the first stage, the standards were extracted from internaitonal referrences and doments.

This was followed by intertage, views to extract the standards from education experts at the second stage.

At the third stage, the standards were integrated into one list.

The forth stage encompassed a verification procedure for the standards and indicators from two sources: One inluded presenting the list before the members of the Palestinian National Team for SDGs and education expercts; while, the second source was presenting the list to the authors of the Palestinian curricula.

Conseqently, the fifth stage emobidied presenting the standards list, which was comprized of 14 criteria and 75 indicators.

The study recommended the need to adopt the proposed standards and indicators in order to be used as a reference document for the development and enrichment of the subjects in a manner that integrates the prosperity goals, with their multiple dimensions, into the Palestinian curricula.
