Abstract EN

This study aimed at investigating occupational stress in relation to job satisfaction among the teaching staff at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University.

The participants were (180) teaching staff members at Nourah bint Abdulrahamn University.

They were professors, associate professors or lecturers.

Two data collection tools were utilized which is prepared by the researcher : the first - was to measure the occupational stress while the second aimed at identifying levels of job satisfaction among the targeted population.

Results showed that levels of occupational stress were high from the perspective of the participants' responses.

However, job satisfaction level was moderate.

There was a strong statistically significant Inverse correlation between occupational stress and job satisfaction.

There were statistically significant differences in occupational stress attributed to the social status.

However, there were no statistically significant differences in terms of the occupational ranking.
