Abstract EN

This study aimed to propose a program based on using the art of origami and Kirigami and demonstrating its effectiveness in developing the capabilities of the fifth grade students with Deaf and hard of hearing in engineering thinking and reducing their engineering anxiety.

To achieve this, the researchers used a semi-experimental approach, and Prepared a test of geometric thinking and Geometric Anxiety scale.

The study was applied to a sample of (23) students from the fifth basic grade, divided into two experimental groups (11), and controlled (12) pupils.

The results of the study revealed that the experimental group was superior to their peers in the control group in the engineering thinking test, as well as the effectiveness of the origami and kirgami art program in reducing the engineering anxiety of the experimental group compared to those in the control group
