Abstract EN

The present study aimed to investigate the level of religious development among adolescents in Jordanian schools, in light of the variables of age stage and gender.

The study sample consisted of (230) male and female students (118 males and 112 females) was selected in the available method, from three classes: Eighth grade (early adolescence), tenth grade (middle adolescence) and second secondary (late adolescence), during the second semester of 2018/2019.

To achieve this aims, the researcher developed scale of religious development among adolescents, consists of (83) items.

The results of the study indicated that the level of religious development of the sample was at a "high" level, as at each stage separately.

Religious development in early adolescence was the highest, then late adolescence, and finally intermediate adolescence.

Religious development among females was higher than males.
