Abstract EN

65 male and female students who were divided into two groups, the first group consisted of 34 students, is experimental.

They studied the methods of teaching history for the third grade according to the analog thinking strategy.

The second group, the control group, consisted of 31 students who studied the same subject in the usual way.

The researcher prepared the test of the skill for evaluating the arguments, which consists of 20 items.

Each item has three alternatives according to the steps of preparing tests.

The experimental group students were superior to the control group students in the skill of evaluating the post-argument skill.

Thus, the null hypothesis was rejected and the alternative hypothesis was accepted.

This confirms the effectiveness of the strategy of analog thinking in the skill of evaluating arguments for students of the Department of History at the College of Education
