Joint performance indicators in tennis

Abstract EN

The study aimed at identifying the issue of priorities for strategic actions in tennis, and the relationship between the different variables in the game.

this topic was reviewed because of the small amount of data in the bibliography about the factors that affect the result in tennis.

based on the bibliography review the indicators of strategic actions were highlighted and the correlation and factor analyses of 21 variables, which were recorded from the men competitors video recordings of the level of TOP-20association of tennis professionals (ATP) on all surfaces.

as a result, several factors that account for nearly 100% of the variance of game variables.

this data allows us to prioritize strategic actions of the level TOP-20 ATP in tennis.
