Abstract EN

The research deals with the impact of philosophy on the language, and focuses on al-Farabi’s language in his book ”al-Huruf”, in addition to how used the derivation in a philosophical way; to make philosophy in a language service, and a language in the philosophy service.

This caused a language of new dimensions that reflecting al-Farabi culture, and his overall vision concerning linguistic philosophy.

The research aims to determine the attendance of philosophical forms used in AL- Farabi’s language, in addition to its influences between language and philosophy, and help the researchers to study the structure and the system of language in a new frames that connect the linguistic text of the author with his scientific background, culture, and his ways of language adapting; to present what he wants from different topics, in addition to the differences that the culture of al-Farabi created philosophical view of the subject of the derivation from new angles.

The research depends on inductive, descriptive and comparative analytical approach, It allows the reader to identify the most important differences created by the philosophical culture of the language; by monitoring the subject of derivation in the language books, and comparing it to al-Farabi in his book "al-Huruf" in the same subject; to arrive at proving the clear philosophical influence in the language of al-Farabi, and his ideas, Linguistics emanating from those philosophical frameworks through which he shaped his character in an age in which the cultural and scientific flourishing facets.
