The present paper aimed at investigating certain personality traits and its relation to psychological adjustment of a sample consisting of (25) illegitimate child and adolescent (14 child & 11 adolescent).
the tools utilized were personality rating scale prepared by Mamdouh Salama, psychological adjustment scale prepared by the present researcher.
results of the study indicated that a positive significant correlation relationship was found between personality traits and psychological adjustment of the illegitimate children participants.
besides, a positive and significant correlation relationship was found between personality traits and psychological adjustment of the illegitimate adolescent participants.
it was also possible to detect a significant difference between illegitimate children and adolescents in personality traits and psychological adjustment.
