Effect of diffrerent concentrations of bee glue extract on some of carcass traits of broiler chicken

The study was conducted in the fields of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Kirkuk, for the period from May 8 to 13 of June to study the effect of different concentrations of Bee Glue extract on some of blood parameters and carcass traits and meat quality,breast and thigh weight,and lipid oxidation stability of broiler ckicken.A total number of 200 unsexed one-day-old ROSS308 chicks were distributed randomly into five experimental treatments .Each of 40 chicks in 4 replicates (10chicks/replicate).The first experimental group T1 was fed on the control diet.T2 was fed on control diet supplemented with (5mg/kg)Neomycin.T3,T4,T5 were fed on control diet supplemented with 250 ,500 ,750 mg/kg BeeGlue (BG) respectively.

The different additions of BeeGlue showed some significant differences for the studied traits at a significant level (p≤0.05).Interestingly,the lipid oxidation stability measured as TBA for the breast and thigh pieces during the freezing storage for 45 days has been decreased Malondialdehyde (MDA) in the experimental groups with Bee Glue compared control.
