Abstract EN

Quranic recitations theme is one of the most important practical, scientific fields that Muslims have taken care of all its forms worldwide where questing it means questing into the depth of Islamic doctrine and among the types of science of recitations, viz, anomalous recitations and reasoning their jurisprudence- an issue that needs research and explanation.

Therefore, this piece of research aims at clarifying what is meant by anomalous recitations, identifying their pioneers, providing scholars’ vision on explaining the jurisprudential rules and the legitimacy of using them in prayer.

On these bases, this issue is approached from two perspectives: theoretical study of anomalous recitations and the legitimacy of reciting anomalously from scholars’ point of view.

Consequently, this study has concluded that anomalous recitations is considered by most scholars who cite and explain the jurisprudence rules if they are not opposed by other stronger proofs.

It also comes out as one cause of argument amongst scholars in devising jurisprudential rules besides to being impermissible to use them in prayer, except for the sake of teaching and learning them.
