The Algerian legislator has surrounded the process of subscribing the company to its private shares with a set of controls that made him balance between prohibiting them on the one hand, and permitting them on the other hand in accordance with the requirements of the legal texts, taking into account the interest of the company, which includes both the interest of shareholders and creditors.

This has also been reinforced by the supervisory role of the Stock Exchange Regulatory Committee that it exercises on the companies whose shares are accepted in the official quotation of the stock market, in order to prevent any maneuver aimed at illicit speculation.
