Abstract EN

This paper has studied a key issue of passive voice in the Arabic language, or particularly, it has dealt with one grammatical structure which occurred in the story of Moses and the sorcerers, that had been contained in three verses in different three su'ras, In this structure the passive verb is Agentive means it has an agent instead of a deputy agent, as opposed to what is known in Arabic grammar.

The study includes an introduction and two items.

The first one talks about passive voice in Arabic generally, the types of it, its functions, and the types of deputy agents.

The second item discusses the opinion that said passive verb in these verses is agentive and proved that by many different pieces of evidence, such as, the general meaning to the events, and the cohesion of the context, the statements of the Argrammarians, and the Quran's interpreters, the equivalent issues in the Arabic language, and the translation.

Then finalizing with a conclusion.
