Research Topic: Ambiguities cited by scholars of Quran exegesis in the afore-mentioned verse.

Research Objective: Responding to these Ambiguities and clarifying them with firm academic response.

Research Problem: How to respond to the following ambiguities: 1.

Doesn’t Allah possess except one east and west that He should mention it in the verse? 2.

What is the wisdom behind specifying the east and west while Allah possesses other things apart from the east and west? 3.

The saying of Allah: “there is the face of Allah”, does this means affirmation of the Face as an attribute of Allah? Prominent research findings: 1.

That Allah specifically mentioned the east and west because they were mentioned the authentic reason behind the revelation of the verse and this does not negate other reasons for this specification.

2.

The most authentic opinion is that this verse indicates the Qibla and the attribute by extension.
