Moroccan scholars have made good efforts in preserving the sunnah of the prophet, which has produced a number of books, including the book "al-Mudawi, for the ills of the small book and the two explanations of al-Munawi" writed by Ahmed Bin al-Siddiq al-Ghummari, who was famous for the genius in hadith science in general, and in hadith criticism in particular.

this research focuses on explaining the most prominent contributions of ibn al-Siddiq in criticizing hadith narratives, explaining his method in correcting and weakening and explaining the causes of hadith, as he is one of the leading Moroccan scholars who spent their efforts in serving the prophet’s sunnah in the modern era, after providing a summary of his life, and explaining the value of some of his recent contributions including "al-Mudawi".
