Abstract EN

The planning of education services in any country must be according to certain criteria.

even though Saudi Arabian government has made excessive efforts to develop educational services in all regions of the kingdom, it was noticed that educational services in hail city has deteriorated due to increasing population pressure on educational services and over capacitated classrooms.

the study addressed the true status of educational services in hail in regard to their efficiency, distribution, expanded adapted to urbanization and population growth in the city, and try to extrapolate elements of imbalance in distribution.

geographic spatial study using modern, advanced and accurate methods that reduced both time and effort.

advanced spatial analysis tools provided by geographic information systems GIS programs have been used.

the study methodology was based on : connection, the standard distance, direction of distribution, and spatial ranges.

the study concluded that there was a mismatch in the spatial distribution of all educational services.

it also concluded that the distribution was not according to certain plans.

hail city real spatial needs additional services especially in marginal neighborhoods.
