The aim of the research is to examine the level of effectiveness of student counseling in the College of Education at the University of Bisha.
The extent to which the Counselor has implemented it the implementation of the guide.
and analyze its effectiveness indicators in terms of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and challenges, as well as to know the level of satisfaction of the beneficiaries of student counseling.
The researcher adopted the descriptive approach and used information-gathering tools and the weighted quadruple analysis technique (SWOT) to analyze the performance of a research sample consisting of (15) mentors in charge of student counseling and guidance in the College of Education, and applied a questionnaire of student satisfaction with student counseling services on a sample of (112) students.
The results of the various analyzed data drawn from multiple sources, dealt with quantitatively and qualitatively by the analysis, showed that student counseling was effective as it included activities, services, responses and the extent to which the extension work was implemented.
also, the SWOT matrix of the internal environment showed the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and challenges of the student counseling environment.
The process, the existence of an incubator environment for extension work, led to the level of quality by a percentage (94.3%), and an improvement in the problems of students who failed in studies, and the satisfaction rate of students (beneficiaries) from student counseling services was a satisfaction rate(%83.33) .
