Perhaps among these disorders, depression, which was known as the disease of the era, has spread amazingly among different age groups, including teenagers .

due to the weakness of the psychlogical structure of the adolecent, hem ay be an easy prey for the circumstances surrounding him, which may lead him into the spiral of depression, which as several studies have shown is very closely related to suicide and suicide attempts.

This is also indicated by the sicentific statistics of the increasing phenomenon of suicide and selective attempts among chlidren and adolescents.

we will try to present the topic of depression and suicide among adolescents from an analytical approach, as the topic raises many problems due to the multiplicity and compexity of the reasons and the the many intertwined factors in it, being psychological, educational and familial, and through its results as it leads to psychological and social repercussions and effects not only on the teenager's health, but also on the family and the social structure of society and other effects of cultural and social dimentions.
