This study aims to assess the operational risks in Islamic banks It needs more understanding of the sources of those risks and their application In addition to the risks of incompatibility with the Islamic system Therefore, it faces a set of challenges similar to those faced by other banks in terms of operational risk.

The risks that Islamic banks may be exposed to, according to Sharia, are more complex.

Due to the different financial activities and banking transactions offered, of the services and contracts it enters into that could significantly affect its operations.

The focus in this study was on the operational risks facing Islamic banks and to confront them, whether through the availability of policies and procedures to manage this type of risk or the availability of qualified administrative competencies to deal with them, this is in line with sound practices in monitoring and managing operational risks.

We concluded in our study that the Islamic bank, the sample of the study, does not have precautionary measures against it to reduce the losses resulting from it.
