Abstract EN

This study aims to identify the impact profitability ratios on the market value of the share in the Jordanian pharmaceutical manufacturing corporation for the period 2014-2018 measured by a set of profit rations, such as return on assets, return on equity, gross profit margin, and net income margin.

The researcher used the descriptive analytical method, which the community consists of all the Jordanian pharmaceutical manufacturing corporation listed on the Amman stock exchange and the study was applied to six corporations.

The study reached a number of results, which the most important one is no impact of profitability ratios in increasing the market value of the share in the Jordanian pharmaceutical manufacturing corporation.

The study is concluded with some recommendations, which are attention to profitability ratios in the process of judging the performance of the administration and the performance of the companies as it explained the effect of the change in the market value of the share.
