Abstract EN

The study aimed to identify the role of strategic thinking in crisis management in Irbid Governorate Electricity Company.

The study was conducted on the employees of the leadership and supervisory positions in Irbid Governorate Electricity Company (104) by relying on the questionnaire method as a measuring tool and testing the main hypothesis of the study that there is no statistically significant effect at the level of significance (α≤0.05) for strategic thinking with its main elements (foresight , Organizational thinking, future vision, motivation) in the stages of crisis management (warning signs stage, preparedness and prevention stage, damage containment phase, activity recovery stage, learning) for workers in the leadership and supervisory positions in Irbid Governorate Electricity Company.

The results of the study indicated that there is an effect of strategic thinking with its basic elements on the stages of crisis management among workers in the leadership and supervisory positions in Irbid Governorate Electricity Company.
