La crise financière, déroulée en 2007 aux États-Unis sur le marché des crédits subprimes, s'est rapidement étendue à l'ensemble des marchés financiers et a gravement affecté la croissance dans les grandes pays avancés au cours des années 2008, 2009 jusqu'à 2011.
Cette crise a été éclatée à cause de plusieurs mauvais comportements dans les institutions monétaires et financières.
En outre, les agences de la notation ont été reprochées à cause de leur rôle mal joué vis-à-vis l'évaluation des crédits titrisés.
Cette étude présente a pour objectif de relire, d'une façon analytique, Manque de transparence concernant une évaluation des titres de dettes émis entre 2004 et 2007, dont des prêts immobiliers « subprime » qui ont fait troubler le système financier à partir de 2008.
Le fait qui a nécessité un renforcement de gouvernance d'entreprise dans les agences de notation ainsi que les établissements financiers.
