The issue of Security raises a great debate among International Relations scholars and decision makers about its concept, content, and composition.

Constructivists argue that Security is a social construct that appears to exist by entering states in a social interaction among them, relying on a common structure of ideas, norms, and identities, which ultimately determines what security is, and how states behave towards it.

In this article, we seek to examine the relation between the concepts of Security and Identity, and its consequences.

and we try to highlight the most important philosophical, ontological, epistemological and methodological foundations adopted from the Constructivists to prove and strengthen their point of view, at the same time the most important criticism of linking Security to Identity.
