Abstract EN

The study aimed to identity the impact of using the 4MAT system on developing mathematical concepts and critical thinking skills among students of the eighth grade.

The researchers adopted the semi- experimental method using experimental design (pre-post) for two experimental and control groups to achieve the objectives of the study, and the study tools consisted of two tests of mathematical concepts and critical thinking skills, and the sample of the study consisted of (70) students of the eighth-grade elementary school in Abdul Qadir Husseini School for Girls.

the study concluded that There are statistically significant differences at the level (α≤0.05) between the mean scores of the students of the experimental group and the members of the control group in the test of mathematical concepts, and the critical thinking test, in favor of the experimental group.

One of the most important recommendations of the study is the use of the 4MAT system, which has proven effective in developing critical thinking skills in teaching other subjects, and teaching the 4MAT system to students of the Faculty of Education and training them to use it.
