This study aimed to investigate “the evaluation of employing virtual classrooms in distance learning from the point of view of mathematics teachers and supervisors in the governorates of Gaza in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.” The two researchers used the descriptive approach.
The study sample consisted of a random group of mathematics teachers in government schools in the governorates of Gaza, and their number reached (97) teachers, including (43) teachers for the higher primary stage, and (54) teachers for the secondary stage, and a random sample of mathematics supervisors.
(12) supervisor, and the study tool was limited to a questionnaire prepared by the two researchers.
To process the data, the statistical treatment program (SPSS) was used.
The arithmetic means and standard deviations were represented by the Independent Samples T-Test to identify the differences between two groups that are not related, and the results showed that there were no differences between the averages of the estimates of mathematics teachers at different stages on the questionnaire axes (the extent of employment, positives, negatives), and the lack of There are differences between the averages of the estimates of mathematics teachers and supervisors, while there are differences between the averages of the estimates of mathematics teachers on the axis of obstacles to employing virtual classes in favor of female teachers, and there are also differences between the mean estimates of teachers of different educational stages on the axis of positives of employing virtual classes in favor of secondary school teachers and the two researchers recommend expanding the scope of distance education, after returning to the face education system, and intensifying training courses, to increase awareness of the importance of virtual classes in achieving the goals of the educational process.
