Abstract EN

The research aimed at investigating the degree of elementary stage mathematics teachers practice of the number sense teaching skills in Jazan educational zone; to achieve this objectives, the researcher Developed a list of numerical sense teaching skills that elementary stage mathematics teachers should possess.

The research methodology relied on the descriptive analytical approach, the research sample included (30) elementary stage mathematics teachers, who were randomly selected from public schools in Jazan, and the observation card was utilized as the research instrument.

The results showed that: the degree of elementary stage mathematics teachers practice of numerical sense teaching skills in Jazan educational district was (medium); the research was concluded by presenting a proposed vision to develop these skills in elementary stage mathematics teachers, and a number of recommendations and suggestions.
