Perhaps it is agreed that one of the compilers of the authentic hadith - and on top of them al-Bukhari - did not commit himself to producing the whole Sahih of hadith, and that it is not necessary for him not to produce a hadith that it is not Sahih, or that he does not consider it to be Sahih, but al-Bukhari stated that he selected it is correct, and he left a lot of the correct one for fear of lengthening.

many scholars also stated that they daif hadiths, or stabbed them because of al-Bukhari’s graduation, so some of them used to say, for example: i expose al-Bukhari to this hadith for this reason, so they make al-Bukhari’s failure to graduate it as a sign of weakness in the hadith.

this study deals with this issue, so it tries to understand the words of the imams who saw in al-Bukhari’s failure to produce a hadith as a stance from him towards him, and to know the limits of that position (does that mean weakening him, for example?), how to arrive at it, and the possibility of being credited with it.

the study contributes to uncovering one of the secrets of Sahih al-Bukhari, and resolves a problem that did not receive sufficient attention in understanding the nature of the Sahih.
