Abstract EN

This study aimed at identifying the effectiveness of an educational program based on reciprocal teaching strategies in developing realistic thinking skills for secondary school students to learn about Islamic education in the State of Kuwait.

The study personnel were selected from the eleventh grade students at Mubarak Secondary School of the Capital Education District in the State of Kuwait during the 2019/2020 academic year, as the researcher identified government secondary schools that include two divisions for the eleventh grade and chose a school from them.

And one of the two divisions was determined randomly to be an experimental group (40) students, and the other division was determined to be a control group (40) students.

To achieve the study objectives, a realistic thinking skills test was built.

The results showed: The reciprocal teaching strategy has been effective in developing realistic thinking skills for eleventh grade students in the State of Kuwait.

The realistic thinking skills of the experimental group students were higher than the control group students.
