The aim of the current research is to identify the obstacles to using productive thinking skills in learning Arabic language for female technical college trainees in Khamis Mushait in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the researcher has adopted the descriptive approach , The research tool was prepared, which is a questionnaire of the obstacles in using productive thinking skills among the trainees.

The tool was applied to the research sample consisting of (77) trainees from the first level trainees at the girls Technical College in Khamis Mushait .The research concluded a set of results, the most important of which are that the dimensions of productive thinking obstacles varied in the rate of their impact on the trainees and were arranged in descending order as follows: The dimension of the curriculum-related obstacles got an average of (2.04) which is an average higher than the rest of the obstacles, and with a standard deviation equal to (0.04) , This is followed by the dimension of the obstacles related to the surrounding environment of an average equal to (2.02), and a standard deviation equal to (0.04), followed by the dimension of the obstacles related to the trainee, where they got an average of (1.93), and with a standard deviation equal to (0.06), while the dimension of the obstacles related to the trainer got The lowest rank of an average (1.89), and a standard deviation of (0.05)., The study recommended the necessity of reviewing the technical writing curriculum with all six elements, as well as the need to reconsider the development of the environment surrounding the trainees, whether this environment is related to management and its educational policy, or the organization of the classroom environment Suitable for productive thinking, as well as raising awareness among families about the need to take care of their children in terms of encouraging for innovation and listening to their opinions.
