Abstract EN

The philosopher Henri-Louis Bergson presented his philosophic ideas and views related to society, religion and ethics in his numerous works; and he devised a special philosophical path that adopts the method of (intuition) and (duration).

He believed that most philosophers abandoned time factor for the sake of the dynamics; and neglected changes for the sake of statics; and sacrificed duration, dynamics and becoming for the sake of space and the static.

The elaboration is an expression of the evolution and the transition from status to other, where the past is always reflected and considered, and the present isconnected to the future.

Bergson acknowledged that human society is characterized by the ability to change, with openness for elaboration.

Life does not accept limitation by closed societies, but rather it is of a continuous evolutionary nature.

Therefore, a "vital impetus" approaches extraordinary figures or individuals with creativity and heroism, that life produces and uses them as tools for the fulfillment of its purposes and intents in encouraging closed societies to march towards openness and dynamics, through responding to a hero, an intellect or a genius by following a role model but not reasoning.

This research aims to track, extrapolate and analyze Bergson's approach and employ it in clarifying the meaning and dynamics of history and the concept of the hero in the becoming of the Islamic nation and determine how far it complies with Martyr Muhammad Baqir al-Sadr's views, being a model for the Islamic nation's intellects and heros, and also, as being a leader of the Islamic contemporary development project.
