Abstract EN

The research problem includes the following question: What are the aesthetic and cognitive characteristics in the gates of the holy shrines, and the importance of research is to develop the aesthetic, cognitive aspect in technical and practical work in design, decoration and writing of linear formations in the doors.

The current research aims to uncover the types at of aesthetic and cognitive characteristics in the doors and define terms What was mentioned in the title of the research is that, the first topic in the second chapter included the functional and aesthetic formulation in door design, and in the second topic the aesthetic specifications in door designs, then the theoretical framework indicators.

In the third chapter, the research methodology, where the researcher follows the description and analysis, and included the research community (10) doors and (2) sections are chosen as a sample for the research, and the researcher builds the research form, which was presented to a group of experts for validity until he reached the final form and the samples were analyzed and arrived at a set of results.

The third, which decorated the doors according to aesthetic standards, to their approach and relay as starting points upon which to base artistic creativity that appears on the functional structure.

The researcher concluded the use of more than one method in decorative distribution and reliance on repetition.
