Abstract EN

Astract: Our study aims at determining the difference between the classical system and the LMD system, basing on content analysis.

The sample of this study represent s articles that tackles the problems of teaching and assessment faced by the Algerian higher education in particular and the Arabic one in general by the 1990's.

Besides, the sample includes some pages from the book LMD by Abd El Karim Harz Allah which deals with the most important issues of the LMD system especially in teaching and assessment.

Therefore, this difference is set out in terms of the teaching courses, the teaching methods, and the assessment forms.
