Abstract EN

The aim of this research was to diagnose errors in the integration of students in the first stage in the faculties of basic education at the university (Mustansiriya, Missan, Diyala).

The research tried to answer the following questions: 1- What are the mistakes that the students of faculties of basic education have in solving questions related to integration? 2 - The prevalence of errors in the students on each paragraph of the test? The researchers prepared the test of the type of multiple choice and then applied to a sample of (640) students from the basic education students were selected in a random way where the search revealed the prevalence of some errorsThe integration of trigonometric functions, the integration of exponential and logarithmic functions.

The research recommended the need to follow the performance of students during their solution in the field of complementarity and the focus of teachers on the mistakes that are made by students with the need to pay attention to concepts and generalizations in the advanced stages, And not to move the teacher to a new subject only after confirmation of the student mastery of concepts, generalizations and processes.
