Abstract EN
Theatrical presentation, as a humanistic production, and the process of creating effective play through converting the written text into a visual and audible language is a consists mainly of three elements, the acoustic element of the actor voice, music and sound effects, and the visual element through the actor's movements, decor, lighting and other visual effects.
Also the element of movement, including the movement of the actor and the movement of decor and the changes in lighting.
The organizational side of the three elements, which are led by the director and his team of designers, require many technical skills.
Some of those skills are intelligence and technical intellective thoughts.
Unfortunately, those skills have been missed out and neglected in the field of researchers and academics studies.
This research consists of four chapters: First chapter Determining the research problem and identifying the following question (does the director needs intelligence to perform effectively to create a persuasion and fascinating play? ( To who are the targets of this research? A - The researchers and specialists in the field of theatre production.
B - The researchers and scholars in the field of intelligence thinking.
C - Directors What are the research objectives? Identification what is intelligence and what are the thinking skills that show and improve the intelligence of the director.
The research limits and specifications are: A – The time 2009.
B – The place: Baghdad / the College of Fine Arts / Department of Performing Arts / The Square and Garden.
C -objective: the director Karim Aboud al - Maliki, in the process of directing the play (refraction( The second chapter The theoretic side A - The concept of multiple intelligence theories.
B – The transitions system of the written text to audio-visual-movement aspects.
The third chapter includes procedures, the mythology of the research and analyses of the research sample.
The fourth chapter contains the following aspects: results, conclusions, recommendations and suggestions.
Perhaps the most important of these results are the following: 1.
The director has intelligence if he has the ability to solve problems.
2.
The director has intelligence if he is able to be a creator in the local culture, and in general cultures.
3.
The director has intelligence if he uses brainstorming strategy.
