Abstract EN

The teacher has built up a scale to measure a mental health of secondary school students and found out its relation to personality traits by following question: What is the level of the mental health and its relation with personality traits of the secondary school students? The importance of this study lies in the study of the importance of mental health to build up positive personalities provided by self and social adaptability and capable of passing over all difficulties which cause disorder and anxiety.

It also aims at helping individuals to play their roles in life in a proper way with a content, happiness and self-satisfaction.

Due to the rareness in of mental health researches in Iraqi and its relation with personality traits, the researcher finds it necessary to show interest in this field of science.
