Abstract EN

The research included “ The Argumentative in Al-Rusafi’s Poetry”, in 30 pages in which we knew the argument as a language item and as an expression.

Then, we showed The Arab critics’ opinions about “the argument” in Arabic literature.

Then, we turned to the definition of the argument and its space in the Holly Quran, passing to a tracing study to the “argument” word through the literary eras.

Later, we discussed the argument concept according to the Greek philosophers as the founders of this concept, and our study was deep about their understanding.

In the first chapter, we talked the kinds of the argumentative which Al-Rusafi used in his poetry and they were: The politics and the descriptive, the socials, the historical, the philosophical, the universals, the lamentation and the womenists.

Our study included also a statistic study to measure the argument ratio in the poet’s.

The second chapter depended on limitation the basis that was the reason of the emergence of the argument as a thinking and a literary style in Arabic literature, especially in Al-Rusafi’s.

They were three bases: the first one is the refusal and the acceptance, the second is the negative and the positive, and the third is the tradition and the modernity, and the fourth is the stationary and the transformative.

In the third chapter, we discussed the aesthetics of the argumentum text which we put in three sections: the first is the paradox, the second is the argument, and the third is the conversation.

Then, the conclusion which concluded the research final results and they are the following: .1 Throughout the statistic study, we showed that Al-Rusafi is a political first – class political poet according to the political argumental ratio which is (31%).

.2 Al-Rusafi, deliberately, used a mere argumental style in his speech.

.3 The refusal to the political and the social circumstances particularly is a prominent feature in his speech.

.4 The poet is affected by the Marxism which believes that the concrete objects are superior to the abstracts.

.5 He used the direct conversation as a means to express the society issues through the characters’ speech and to give the hero a large space to express his bad condition.

.6 The last chapter is the least of the other chapters in number because the poet is a thinker first and a poet second.

So, I worked hard to count his aesthetics.

And after the conclusion, I wrote a list of the resources and the references that I used in the research, and I closed the research with a summary in English praying to God that my humble effort will meet satisfying and acceptance.
