The research aims to find out the main difficulties faced by the students of the third stage - Department of Art Education - Faculty of Fine Arts - University of Diyala in the ceramic material, and set up study on all students of the third stage's (37) students and to achieve this goal, the researcher developed a questionnaire has been verified sincerity through presentation to a group of experts in the field of teaching methods of art education and visual arts, as well as the verification of stability by reapplied to the sample of the research community itself and the researcher used the current study statistically appropriate means and reach to the existence of (6) difficulties facing students of the third stage - Department Art Education - Faculty of Fine Arts - University of Diyala in the ceramic material are: 1-Non-availability of the raw material clay .

2-The lack of sufficient numbers of horrors hand .

3-The lack of sufficient number of electrical cabinets pottery .

4-The lack of time to learn 5-lack of a place to store the mud .

6.absence of basins to prepare the clay .
