Abstract EN

The present study aimed to know the relationship between the level of psychological security and personality traits of a sample of university students in the state of Laghouat.

To achieve the goals of the study, two measures of psychological security were used by the researcher and the Eisenk scale for personality, as they were applied to an exploratory sample.

This study resulted in the suitability of the two measures for the purposes of the study.

In the basic study based on the descriptive approach, the study was applied to a random sample of university students in the state of Laghouat reached 150 students.

The study yielded the following result: There is a statistically significant relationship between psychological security and personality traits of the total sample of students.

- There is a correlation between the overall degree of the psychological security scale and the dimensions of its dimensions, and the personality traits of the study sample (male and female).
