Abstract EN

The purpose of this study is to reveal the level of eating problems in two dimensions (anorexia nervosa and Bulimianervosa) and the level of body dysmorphic obsessive among adolescent girls in Jerash governorate in Jordan.

and to discover if there is a relationship between Eating Problems and Body Dysmorphic Obsessive.

The study sample consisted of (338) students from the seventh, eighth, ninth, tenth and first secondary grades, from the public schools in Jerash governorate in the first semester of the academic year 2018/2019.

They were selected in stratified random sampling, to achieve the aims of the study the researcher two scales, eating problems (anorexia nervosa and Bulimia nervosa) scale, and (Body Dysmorphic Obsessive) scale, the validity and stability were verified then applied to the study sample.

The results of this study showed that the level of eating problems (anorexia nervosa and Bulimianervosa) and the level of Body Dysmorphic Obsessive came at in average level.

There is statistically significant positive correlation between eating problems (anorexia nervosa and Bulimianervosa) and Body Dysmorphic Obsessive.
