Abstract EN

The study aimed to identify the level of job performance of teachers in governmental secondary schools in Jerash Governorate from their point of view and its relationship to some variables.

The sample of the study consisted of (320) male and female teachers from public secondary schools in Jerash Governorate.

The questionnaire was used as a tool to collect data, and its validity and reliability were confirmed .The results of the study showed that the level of job performance of teachers in government secondary schools in Jerash governorate, from their viewpoint, was moderate.

And there were no statistically significant differences at the significance level (a 0.05) for the responses of the study sample individuals to the level of job performance of teachers in governmental secondary schools in Jerash governorate from their point of view due to the effect of gender, years of service, and academic qualification.

In light of the results, the study recommended the necessity of motivating teachers to accomplish their tasks by developing self-censorship and encouraging teachers by praising the personal efforts they make, providing meaningful incentives, and organizing training courses and workshops for teachers on job performance and methods of improving their level.
