The study of this topic aims to identify the reasons and justifications for reforming the United Nations, whether related to the transformation in the structure of the international system, or stemming from its tasks, as well as identifying reform proposals at the structural, financial and administrative levels, given that the reform of the United Nations at the present time is a process Multi-faceted covering all areas of its activities and all its entities, institutions and agencies.

Since the establishment of the United Nations, its charter has not been reconsidered, despite its shortcomings in many aspects that are incompatible with the new international order.

It changes neither in its structures nor in its missions, and it has failed to carry out its main task related to maintaining international peace and security because of the great powers' adherence to the issue of reforming the organization according to their own vision and personal considerations.
