دراسة قياسية لأثر الاستثمار في التعليم العالي على النمو الاقتصادي في الجزائر خلال الفترة (1990-2017)‎

Abstract EN

The study has tried to define the relationship and degree of impacts of both expenditure on higher education and the graduates' number on the gross domestic product (GDP) in Algeria during the period 1990-2017.

The findings of the econometrics study showed that there is no long-term balance relationship between study variables which required the application of the VAR model.

The causation study based on Toda Yamamoto approach also has revealed that there is no causal relationship between expenditure on higher education and the number of graduates and the GDP, while there was a causal relationship from expenditure on higher education towards the number of graduates.
