The study aimed at identifying the level of ability of fourth grade female students from the dimensions of mathematical proficiency, and the extent to which this level was affected by two variables (type of education, city).

The study relied on the descriptive survey method.

The study population consisted of all fourth-grade female students in the cities of Al-Qassim (Buraidah, Unayzah, Al Rass), and the study sample reached (451) female students from the fourth grade of primary school students, were selected using the stratified random sample method.

The study prepared a test to measure mathematical Proficiency that was built according to its four dimensions (conceptual understanding, procedural fluency, strategic competence, and adaptive reasoning).

and a measure to measure the productive disposition.

The results of the study showed that the fourth grade students were able of conceptual understanding, and not being able of (procedural fluency, strategic competence, and adaptive reasoning) separately and mathematical Proficiency in dimensions combined.

The level of productive disposition was high, and the study found a different level of ability of the study sample from the dimensions of mathematical Proficiency according to the type of education for the benefit of the female students of memorization, as well as the study concluded the difference level of the ability of the sample study in the dimension of conceptual understanding according to the city for the benefit of Unaizah female students.
