Abstract EN

The aim of this study was to identify the literary texts on the development of Learning, Eleven criteria were chosen for the selection of literary texts for non-Arabic speakers, which are to a large extent applicable to learners of Arabic as their mother tongue.

And the most notable of which include the common structures which are continue to be used and are not rare and abandoned, and that the texts are short and readily available, non-observance of the fame of the writer, the suitable ideas, variety of the literary works and to be documented in poem, an article and a story.

And then, the makers of educational curricula recommended that to bring the standard words which students can use it in their daily life, and feels familiarity with these vocabulary and easy to learn, preserve and understand the meanings easily through the general context of the sentence.

And should select the texts that contain short sentences, because its meaning is often easy and the learner can guess its meaning through the context, unlike long sentences that are more difficult to understand.
