The event of young Palestinian resistance from Beirut in 1982, aboard the ship Solfryne under the brutal bombing of the Israeli enemy, and the weakness of the Arab countries ,transformed in Derwish Madih Eddil Alali’s poem into a kind of a tragic going out which seems like the tragic one known by people and communities in their histories.

It is a New Palestinian Diaspora, in which the poet recalled stories and events that are similar in facts and wounds, and through them he succeeded in retracing and reciting his pure pain which is dissolved in multiple tales of loss that are coupled with historical and religious contexts.

He concludes his praise with the mythical story of Odysseus where he embodied through it his dream of return.
