Abstract EN

The issue of Public Health Institutions today, is how to balance between the increasing demands on health services and limited resources of the health sector.

That claim to the necessity of controlling expenditures instead of thinking about financing.

Therefore, our study aims to know about a National Health accounts system in rationalizing expenditures.

This study concludes that to achieve the balance between the increasing expenditures and the capacity of available financing, it requires procedures and measures that allow to reduce health expenditures and rationalizing them.

Among these procedures, the National Health Accounts which took inspiration from principles of National Accounting as a tool of protection and rationalization of health spending.
