One of the most important fields of humanities and social sciences is the science of history, which still raises many problems around it, whether it is related to the real reasons behind its codification, the characteristics of the eras of its historians, the principles and foundations of its writing, or its adopted methodology that gives it a scientific character that allows it to keep pace with civilizational developments and obtain its right in the ranks of other sciences.

However, the real motivation for recording history is often the desire of historians to convey facts and events from the distant or recent past with accuracy and credibility.

Given the importance of the topics of history and the methodology used in its embodiment - I decided to research it, on the one hand, focusing on the reasons for the interest of the Arab scholar "IbnKhaldun" in the science of history and his keenness to transmit it in the correct manner, a condition of objectivity, accuracy, clarity and avoidance of subjectivity in recording facts and events, and on the other hand, the historical methodology which it relied on.
