The current study aims to reveal the understanding and diagnosis of reading and writing difficulties in the category of hearing impaired persons equipped with the Center for the 1 learingally Disabled in SidiBel Abbas, where the descriptive curriculum was relied upon, and the application of the diagnostic test for reading and writing (level 1) designed by 'Ahmed bin Abdullah al-Wahabi' on (05) CASEs of hearing-impaired students equipped with hearing aids between the ages of 15 and 17.

Accordingly, the results of the study revealed that all five members of the study group actually face difficulties in reading and writing, but to varying degrees.
