This research aims at showing the extent of the impact that banking governance plays in creating banks' value which creates competitive advantages.

Therefore, thinking about applying the principles of governance through the effective tools for it, contributes much to the good performance of banks.

This work indicated that there is an impact of governance on creating value for banks.

It presented a set of recommendations to increase the commitment to applying the principles of banking governance to achieve the strategic objectives, including the creation of value for banks.
