The motif is used in contemporary Arabic poetry to realize the beauties and specific points of the text, relying on the repetition method, and perhaps on a particular word or thought to indicate human emotions and influences, to establish the order of the text and it is enough to display the poetic language.

Nevertheless, death does not stop when the repetition is besieged in the poetic structure, but rather what concerns him, a remarkable emotional impact on the reader as it is not possible to obtain the angles of this influence and influence only through the approach of the death and exploring its constituent elements.

There is no doubt that the motif is one of the most useful technical methods that helps the reader to enrich the literary text and to understand it correctly, as in the poetry of Samih al-Qasim and Mahmoud Darwish to illustrate the most brilliant emotional and realistic functions.

It has to be the language of truth from the perpetual crises that have deep rooted in their minds.

This research, using a descriptive-analytical approach, seeks to identify the most important signs of the mother motif in the works of two poets in order to compare the two in terms of look, image and thought.

Summary of the research results suggests that the mother's motive is associated with both tragedy and scene magnification, but Samih al-Qasim focuses more on the mother's human function and emotional reactions during Crisis sets in and Mahmoud Darwish and Mahmoud Darwish take advantage of this sentiment to return to their dream childhood
